• The IHBS research/recovery staff is organized in groups of four people
  
  • Each group works only for a single client or groups of clients (as dictated by volume)
    
• Claims thought to be inappropriately considered are sent to the research area
  
  • If there is no managed care contract the statement process begins
    
  • If there is a contract the claim is kept pending while researched
    
  • Posting is done as the EOB directs
