- Reports are run by carrier, based on promised turn-around time
- Medicare: 10 days after claim submitted
- Medicaid Wisconsin: 7 days after claim submitted
- Illinois Public Aid: Web based verification of claims in process
- Managed Care: Blue Cross Blue Shield and various others, day payment promised
- Internet claims adjudication tracking for most contract carriers
- Workers Comp: 7 days after claim submitted
- All others: begin 6 weeks after claim submitted
- Direct phone contact with the payer is often the best way to discover problems and provide necessary missing or incorrect information
